Our public schools need to be supported and treasured! They serve a vital role in the community and Amy Tidd supports public education fully. She believes that public money should support public schools and private money should support private schools, so she does not support the effort to pay for private corporate schools that do not have to follow state guidelines with our tax dollars. Too many charters have gone bust and their students have had to transfer mid term, disrupting the child's year and causing the public school who then had to take them in to be overcrowded. Public schools of choice can add to our quality of education and still provide certified teachers and a great education for no additional cost to the citizens.
